Our Mission

By providing barrier-free access to diapers, baby wipes, and menstrual products to families and young people, Care Collective supports multigenerational well-being.

The Care Collective board is seated around a table, smiling to the camera.

Care Collective was founded by a group of caregivers, community organizers, and nonprofit leaders who identified the need for diapers and period supplies in spaces where people felt safe, welcome, and prioritized.

We partner with community and grassroots organizations to ensure accessible spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant families and young people.

We know that consistent access to diapers and period supplies for young people relieves stress for the whole family. With one less thing to worry about, families have greater capacity for connection and joy!

Land Acknowledgement.

Care Collective exists on the land of the Council of the Three Fires – the Ojibwe, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi. Indigenous nations of the Great Lakes region are also known as the Anishinaabe (Ah-nish-nah-bay), or original people, and their language is Anishinaabemowin (Ah-nish-nah-bay-mow-in). We acknowledge the enduring relationship that exists between the People of the Three Fires and this land.
