Care Collective hosts monthly volunteer events that are open to everyone! These events are first come, first serve, so sign up to receive volunteer notifications on our “Volunteer” page.

Children are absolutely welcome at volunteer events! Children 12 and under do not need to register, but need to be chaperoned by an adult volunteer. Children 13 and older are able to volunteer without a chaperone, but they need to register for the event ahead of time. 

Most of our products are purchased by us with financial support from our community funders and donors. A portion of our products are in-kind donations, provided to use through product drives or individual donors. 

Currently, our volunteer events are focused on repackaging diapers and period products. There is some variety in tasks during repackaging, but it is predominantly a stationary activity at tables.

We’re always exploring new ways to get products to the community. Send a message to program@carecollectiveswmi.org with a description of your organization and your idea for how to give out products. We may currently have a waitlist for new partners, so your patience is appreciated.
