The Ripple Effects of Supporting Care Collective

How it started.

How it's going.

As our first year comes to a close, we are extremely proud of the work that we’ve done. We’ve built the foundation of an organization that will make an impact in a different way; a way that centers BIPOC and queer identities and emphasizes the power of our community. But we are nowhere near finished. We’re excited to expand on the foundation we’ve built, and we’re excited to do that with you.

People often talk about the ripple effects of poverty. Something small like a sick day or car troubles can cause you to lose your job. Without safety nets, you could lose your housing, not be able to provide for your family; everything gets worse.

But what about the ripple effects of having resources? For five dollars, a student at Linden Grove can attend class knowing she has the period products she needs. No more distractions, embarrassment, and discomfort. She can be healthier, happier, and more engaged in her future.

That ripple effect starts somewhere; it starts with you. If you can donate five dollars, we can get a period product kit to someone who needs it. We understand if you can’t afford to donate five dollars, but if you and four friends each donated one dollar, we can make a difference together.

To create real change, we need to work together as a community. As a collective, across all of our partners, volunteers, and donors. One delivery to one partner, one hour from one volunteer, one dollar from one donor.

To make waves, we just need one ripple, and that ripple can be you.
